Our desire is to provide an assortment of offerings that nourish and preserve the body and mind. We offer a variety of classes ranging from traditional yoga to healing breathwork, to a fresh approach to stretching with resistance.

Stretch, strengthen, and revitalize with this gentle flow Hatha Yoga class. Good for all levels. We do not do full sun salutations, but there are options to take them in the class.

What is Fascia Flossing?
Fascia Flossing is a dynamic way to stretch and rejuvenate your connective tissue from the inside-out. It's active. It's engaged. It's mindful. It's connected. Students say they feel like they've had a workout and a massage in one.
What to expect?
With gentle engagement added to flowing, pulsing movement, we will reset our fascia, move stagnant fluid and toxins that are stuck in the tissues, and internally exfoliate our way feeling renewed and spacious. Areas of the body that feel painful, stagnant, or stuck are mostly likely where your fascia has thickened, hardened or become dry. The goal is to leave the session feeling mobile, loose, and energized.

Gentle Yoga + Strength Training WORKSHOP
Tuesdays in March 10:30-11:45 with Sheri Kosh and Colleen Juarez
$20 per session

Every week, Sheri Kosh and Colleen Juarez will create a combination class of yoga and strength training. After each session we will send a PDF of the poses and exercises that we covered. Sheri will start with a stretching and warm up sequence. Colleen will take over for about 1/2 hour or so and Sheri will complete the practice with another 30-40 minutes of yoga. This is an interactive workshop designed to answer questions and help you expand your own home practice. Come to one or all. Bring your own 2,3,4, or 5 lb weights if you have them.

A thoughtful approach to a weekly yoga practice, connecting movement to breath with a mixture of hatha flow and longer yin/restorative holds. This is a gentle class and best with some yoga experience.

Gentle Yoga is a class mostly on your mat on your back, including some classical restorative poses. The class also entails balance, breathing, concentration and meditation. $20 drop in.

Total Body Stretch

Researchers agree on the benefits of regular stretching. What is it : Gentle Movements that result in increased flexibility, better joint range of motion, reduced risk of injury and improved physical function. Other important benefits of stretching are decreased feelings of stress, fatigue and anxiety at the same time improving feelings of energy, mindfulness, and positivity.
There are dynamic stretches done at the beginning of a workout or during various yoga styles.
This class offers static stretching which occurs after a workout or for just getting those benefits already mentioned. It requires holding an attainable position for a longer period of time (10-30 seconds.) Stretching of some sorts should be done several times a week especially as we age or if we sit everyday.
Now , you have a stretch class that can be incorporated into your current program, making it a great way to end your day or get through the rest of your week.

All classes are drop-in and payments are handled directly with the class instructor. Please ask the instructor what forms of payment they accept.
The classes are not managed or put on by VYANA Wellness Collective. The individual instructors rent the studio space at VYANA to hold their classes. If you have any questions about specific classes please let us know and we will assist you as best as we can and provide you the information to contact the instructor.
